WHAT WE DO
PDQ offers a full range of hospitality consulting and training programs. The STEPS process (System to Enhance Productivity and Service) is a complete reengineering of the housekeeping department focusing on the room attendant job. It organizes the responsibilities of the room attendants into specific cleaning cycles that produce high level quality in the most efficient manner possible. At the same time looking at all areas in the department for inefficacies and opportunities.
PDQ also has a division devoted to the laundry discipline. We organize work flow, optimize equipment throughput and train staff on production-scheduling, equipment upkeep and staff-training.
We facilitate hotel design by working with architects on back-of-the-house layout, equipment position and storage location to economize travel of people and material through the hotel.
